A few spaces remain on this trip. Please check out the details in the updated trip flyer/reservation form below.

Join the Society for Asian Art for five nights and four days exploring Asian art in the Detroit area. We will enjoy private curator-led tours of stunning, world class Asian art at the Detroit Institute of Arts and the University of Michigan Museum of Art in Ann Arbor. Our trip will also include visits to two renowned private collections, one in Detroit and one in Ann Arbor, as well as a visit to the Detroit studio of contemporary artist Neha Vedpathak, a rising star on the art scene.

Please mail the completed reservation form with full payment for the trip to the tour operator, Spiekermann Travel Service, Inc., 18421 E. Nine Mile Rd., Eastpointe, MI 48021. Please do not mail to the SAA. If you are paying with a credit card (American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover), you can email the reservation form to Spiekermann Travel.

Acceptance will be determined by the earliest postmark date, and a waiting list will be established. In the event that there are more than 20 reservations with the earliest postmark date, a lottery will be held to determine the trip participants.

This trip is limited to 20 Society members only. You may join the Society online on our website. You may also mail a check for membership, payable to the Society for Asian Art, to 200 Larkin Street, San Francisco, CA 94102.
