Embark on a 10-night cultural journey through Thailand's rich history, starting in vibrant Bangkok, where you'll explore grand temples and museums as well as dine in historic villas such as Chakrabongse and the famed Jim Thompson House during our private after-hours tour. Take a day trip to the ancient capital of Ayutthaya, where the UNESCO World Heritage site offers majestic ruins of temples and palaces from the Siamese Kingdom. Travel north to Sukhothai and Si Satchanalai, also UNESCO rated, the cradle of Thai civilization, known for its meticulously
preserved temples and stunning Buddha statues. End the trip in Chiang Mai, a hub of Lanna culture, where traditional arts flourish in its old city, temples, and local crafts workshops.
Engage with curator-led museum experiences and enriching lectures by local experts, including a special talk by Patricia Cheesman on the artistry and traditions of Lao textiles. Observe artisans at work, demonstrating time-honored techniques in traditional Thai arts. Delve into the historical and cultural significance of the sites along the journey with a lecture series on art, history, and culture by Dr. Julian Brown. Relax knowing that Conley & Silvers is managing all logistics and enjoy the company of your expert tour leader, Dana Conley. Enjoy exclusive visits to culturally significant sites, and a private river cruise gliding past temples and grand palaces, offering an uncrowded, intimate glimpse of Thailand at its most magical.

Reservations will be accepted BY MAIL ONLY. please print, complete and sign the RSVP & Deposit Form, write a check to the tour operator, Conley & Silvers, for the $1,500 per person deposit, and mail to Dana Conley, 1102 1st Street South, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250. Please do not mail or email to the SAA Office.
This trip is limited to a maximum of 20 SAA members, and is expected to fill up quickly. Acceptance will be determined by the post mark date and a waiting list will be established. So, it is important to send in your reservation now!

Registration Policies
The Society for Asian Art's cancellation policy requires at least one week's advance written notice in order to receive a refund of registration fees. This excludes our Travel programs, which have separate cancellation policies, as well as any programs where a specific refund policy is stated on the event page. Your fees will be returned to you through a check in the mail. To cancel, please contact us.
For programs located within the Asian Art Museum, the museum entrance fee must be paid separately and is not included with your registration fee.
Please note that by registering for a program, you are giving consent to the SAA to be photographed or videoed as a participant.
