2026 Annual Holiday Party

Our Annual Holiday Party will be held at a fascinating venue — Eastern Classics in Berkeley, the largest importer of authentic Japanese antiques and furniture in the country. The gallery space is chock full of interesting Japanese antiques and artifacts, and lots of wonderful tansus to tickle your fancy, as well as other large and small intriguing items on display and for sale.

Come explore the antique and reproduction Japanese tansu furniture, antique collectibles such as vintage décor and antique artwork, and authentic Japaneseaccessories including lanterns, meditation cushions, vintage carpenter tools, tansu hardware and more.

Come in your festive attire and mix and mingle with other Society members as you sip wine and nibble on hors d’oeuvres and finger foods.

Please note that there will be limited seating space. Street parking is available as well as in the common parking area adjacent to the shop.

Registration Policies

The Society for Asian Art’s cancellation policy requires at least one week’s advance written notice in order to receive a refund of registration fees. This excludes our Travel programs, which have separate cancellation policies, as well as any programs where a specific refund policy is stated on the event page. Your fees will be returned to you through a check in the mail. To cancel, please contact us.

For programs located within the Asian Art Museum, the museum entrance fee must be paid separately and is not included with your registration fee.

Please note that by registering for a program, you are giving consent to the SAA to be photographed or videoed as a participant.
