1st Lecture of Spring 2026 Arts of Asia is this Friday, Feb. 6!

The first lecture of the Spring 2026 Arts of Asia lecture series will take place this Friday, Feb. 6, 2026 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Pacific Time both in person and on Zoom.

The museum’s Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art, Naz Cuguoglu, will kick off the lecture series with a talk entitled, Rhythms of the West Asian Diaspora: Contemporary Art in Motion. The lecture study guide is now posted online.

Zoom webinar confirmation emails will be sent to all attendees who registered in advance by Wednesday, Feb. 4.

If you are planning to attend this lecture in person, please allow extra time to get to the museum, because there are street closures in the area this week for various Super Bowl-related events. For the latest information please check the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) website. Please be reminded that this first lecture will be in the Koret Education Center on the first floor of the museum and not in Samsung Hall.
