Erik’s gallery and Al’s studio have enchanted SAA members on previous visits. Erik has antique tribal and Asian art from all over Southeast Asia. His inventory ranges from weapons (including a fine selection of Indonesian keris) to fine art and sculpture. The weapons collection is widely known and celebrated, and many of these pieces, both ritual and utilitarian, are stunning works of art. Al has become famous for his powerful sculptures of churches, synagogues, and reliquaries made from guns, bullets, and missile casings. We will also see a fabulous selection of his older sculpture, mainly figural, in a separate gallery in the complex. Wine and nibbles will be served.

Be advised that there are several sets of high stairs to be negotiated in the Farrows’ building.
