Following on the Looking East theme, Peter will connect some dots from his own eclectic collection of textiles, hanging scrolls, and 18th century engravings of what Europeans perceived to be "Eastern Gods" like Kannon. He will show us some of his treasured possessions and talk about his collecting philosophy.

Peter Sinton and his wife Beverly have a wonderful collection encompassing various cultures, especially Japanese. Peter is well known as a Docent and a long-time member of the Society and the Board. What is less well known is that Peter is an expert bee keeper and was President of the Beekeepers Association of San Francisco. He keeps his hives at the Laguna Honda Reservoir.
