Mark your Calendars! The Society for Asian Art Souk returns to Fort Mason October 29-30, 2016!!  Proceeds from this bazaar benefit the Asian Art Museum and provide members and the public the opportunity to shop for Asian-themed treasures and trinkets at bargain prices.

Plan to attend the Souk Sale at Fort Mason in the Firehouse on Saturday, October 29th from 12 pm to 5 pm and Sunday, October 30th from 10 am to 2 pm. We expect to have 3000+ items donated by fellow Asian art and culture enthusiasts. 

Art and antiques, collectibles and crafts in search of new homes include: Chinese, Japanese and Korean paintings and calligraphy, screens and scrolls, woodblock prints, porcelain and other ceramics, cloisonne, baskets, bronzes, court costumes and kimono, dolls, lacquer and tea wares; from the Silk Road: colorful carpets, ethnic clothing and jewelry, beads and bangles, musical instruments; from South and Southeast Asia: handcrafted metal work, hand-woven textiles, carved wood statues and masks; decorative objects and dramatic deities from the Himalayas and beyond.

Note: All items bought are "carry home". We do not deliver, but we can hold items purchased during the two sale days for you to come back and pick up. Items can be paid for in cash, by check, or by credit card.

 

Please keep your donations coming. We are collecting all types of Asian or Asian-themed art, antiques, collectibles, and crafts, on the following days:.

•   September 23, 2 to 4 p.m.

  • October 7, 2 to 4 p.m.


Donations will be collected at the home of Trista Berkovitz and Stephen Pegors at 855 29th Avenue in San Francisco, between Fulton and Cabrillo Streets. In return for your donations, we’ll give you a receipt for tax deduction purposes. Contact  trista.b@outlook.com if you have questions about donations, or would like to volunteer to help with the event.

Registration Policies

The Society for Asian Art's cancellation policy requires at least one week's advance written notice in order to receive a refund of registration fees. This excludes our Travel programs, which have separate cancellation policies, as well as any programs where a specific refund policy is stated on the event page. Your fees will be returned to you through a check in the mail. To cancel, please contact us.

For programs located within the Asian Art Museum, the museum entrance fee must be paid separately and is not included with your registration fee.

Please note that by registering for a program, you are giving consent to the SAA to be photographed or videoed as a participant.
