This stunning calligraphy in metal will knock your eyes out! Come and meet an extraordinary artist, Feng Jin, whose work combines a thoroughly modern aesthetic, high drama, and an unwavering commitment to classical Chinese traditions. This is the kind of contemporary Asian art that will thrill and delight those of us who continue to revel in the beauty of traditional forms. Feng will tour the exhibit with us and we’ll enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres at the gallery. An optional dinner follows at the acclaimed Lers Ros Thai restaurant nearby. Don’t miss this one!

Born in Harbin, China, of Korean descent, Feng Jin has a B.A. from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing. He taught sculpture and art history at Xuan Wu Hong Qi Vocational University, and was Supervisor of the Beijing Urban Environment Art Institution’s Production and Design Department before moving to the U.S. in 1996. He has a long list of exhibitions and devoted patrons.
